Lycanroc is a Pokemon with extremely high Assail and Speed. That said, information technology's brought downwards by its lackluster defenses, and so it's ordinarily played together with the Focus Sash.

Although Lycanroc's attacking power is high, it commonly won't be able to pull off a 1HKO fifty-fifty against Pokemon with medium-level defenses without super effective damage, so using Counter together with the Focus Sash is ideal for laying on force per unit area.

This build focuses on attack increasing held items to plow Lycanroc into a physical powerhouse. With its loftier set on and speed and admission to Accelrock, Lycanroc can handle itself in a variety of situations.

Especially when given a Choice Band, if Lycanroc uses Accelrock on Cinderace it tin take it downward in one hit.

Play Rough	Counter for Dragon and Fighting-types. Great against Dragapult or Urshifu who come across high use in the current meta.
Swords Dance	Raises Lycanroc'due south attack past two stages. Best paired with a Life Orb.

Although Lycanroc has a loftier attack, its low defenses will prevent it from lasting long on the battlefield. Prepare Stealth Rock first and then hit hard with Accelerock, getting the heave from Tough Claws. This will deal significant damage and allow its teammates to enjoy the Stealth Stone benefits.

When Lycanroc is up confronting an ace assaulter who's itching to swing at it with a massive club, Counter with Focus Sash will work wonders.
